Chemistry
Support with foundational chemistry concepts, problem-solving, and the math required to understand chemistry.
Math
Pre-Algebra and Algebra I, with an emphasis on understanding concepts and applying them to solve problems.
Why these? Because they are required for chemistry math problems and I often see gaps in understanding
Health & Body Systems
Academic support for school-age health curriculum and human body systems.

Tutoring is available for upper elementary, middle school, and high school students whose families are looking for individualized academic support in these subjects.
How Sessions Work
Each student receives 1:1 virtual tutoring tailored to their current coursework, questions, and area(s) of need. We focus on understanding the material, working through problems, and developing the confidence to apply what they know. Up to 2 subjects per session.
Sessions are 60 minutes and scheduled as a four-week commitment, with payment made in advance.

Meet Your Tutor
Hi, I’m Jenn. My background as a pharmacist of 20 years has given me a strong foundation in chemistry, math, and science, as well as experience applying scientific concepts in practical ways. When I stepped back from practicing full time to focus on homeschooling my kids, I deeply missed my favorite role of pharmacy, the educator!
I started becoming the pharmacist mom that could help when kids got stuck with science and math. I also became the on call “what do you know about this medication?” friend and I was happy to answer any questions and nerd out.
I knew when I started looking forward to educating my mom friends over coffee and challenging students to think critically through concepts they thought they’d never get…that I was exactly where I needed to be. I’m already looking forward to meeting you.
