I help middle-school students strengthen the math foundation they need for Pre-Algebra and Algebra 1 through personalized, one-on-one online tutoring focused on understanding the math, not just memorizing the steps.

How tutoring works
1. Start with a math skills check
We’ll begin with a short skills check to identify strengths and areas where your child may benefit from additional support.
2. Establish personalized learning goals
I’ll use what I observe to create written goals that guide our instruction and keep us focused on your child’s needs.d
3. Meet weekly for individualized instruction
Your child receives one 60-minute online tutoring session each week. We’ll strengthen foundational skills while connecting them to the math your child is currently learning.
4. Monitor progress and adjust
As your child develops greater understanding and fluency, I’ll adjust instruction to address remaining gaps and build on new strengths. You’ll receive updates on progress and areas that still need attention.
5. Continue ongoing support
This is ongoing, weekly customized support, not a fixed-length program. As foundational gaps improve, you can continue working with me so your child has consistent support as they progress through Pre-Algebra and Algebra 1.

Your investment
Currently $240 per four-session block
Tutoring is ongoing, with no long-term contract. We’ll continue working together as long as the support is beneficial for your child through Algebra 1.
The goal isn’t simply to get today’s problems right.
It’s to help your child understand the math, strengthen the skills underneath it, and develop the confidence and reasoning needed for what’s next.
We meet your child where they are and build from there. The goal is progress, not perfection.

Our first session includes a brief 15-minute parent conversation, a short skills check with your child, and the beginning of our personalized tutoring plan.
